Major Accomplishments:
The Wealth of Nations: In this book Smith emphasises the what a nation needs to evolve and prosper through moral and social standards. The book it split up into 4 parts. Part one and two focuses on the division of labor, that the workers should be allowed to brainstrom what would make production run more efficiently and this fules the flow of new ideas for technology and innovation. Part four focuses mainly on Great Britian and its change from a hunter-gather nation to agriculture and ultimitly a comercial capatilism. The four part criticize the mercantile commerce that was present in Europe. Here Smith really let everything go and really expressed himself by saying a county should not hog all of its reasources, but increase trade and thus he created gross domestic product. Smith also said the ecomomy sould regulate itself and not have intrusions which hinder its full potential. In the last part of the book he expresses the role of goverment in economy and the country. He said that the people should govern the economy and the goverment protect these privllages and rights.
